This song "Picture Frame" is based on a true story about Jeroen's grandmother who passed away 5 years before he was born. About the tragedy of a huge fire killing not only his grandmother but also 5 of her children back in 1967. With hardly any pictures and just a few stories about who she was, this song tells the story of a grandchild with just a picture in a frame and a place on a graveyard as well the piece of ground where their former house was standing to remember. When you are getting older yourself, more questions are rising about your roots. You wanna know what kinda similarities you share, behavior, humor and so one. This song is a moment of reflection and a tribute to a woman born exactly 100 years ago, a brave woman giving her life trying to rescue her children.
